As we reported yesterday, there’s now a vacancy on the Parks Committee following Mary Swift’s resignation on July 17, 2019.
Peninsula Township is accepting letters of interest for an immediate opening for a two-year position on the Parks Committee, which meets the second Wednesday of each month.

Additional meetings and study sessions might be scheduled, as well. Also, applicants must be qualified electors of the township.
The Peninsula Township Parks Committee is composed of seven members that are appointed by the Township Board. Current members include Mike Skurski (chair), Beth Karczewski, Don Atkinson, Pete Dahl, Eric Dreier and Dave Murphy.
While the committee is still in the process of defining their role with the management of the parks, they work with the Township Board and staff for the development and operation of all the township parks.
