Lots of Canada Geese on the OMP this summer. As mentioned previously, these geese just do not care if you’re waiting for them to cross the road. They will take their sweet time (and hopefully actually make it across the road before a tragedy strikes).
These particular geese hang around by Mission Hills on Bluff Road. There’s another good-sized flock to the north by Ann and Howard Fouch’s old house (now owned by someone else), and to the south at Lonnie Penney’s place (next to Mission Hills) and farther south on Bluff Road past Blue Water Road.
Basically, they’re everywhere. But, of course, this is not unique to this summer. We always have lots of these handsome flocks on the OMP all year round, as you can see here.
