Continuing our theme of Halloween around the Old Mission Peninsula, today we head to the village of Old Mission, where Halloween has definitely arrived at the Old Mission Inn.
They always do their yard up great for Halloween, but this year, they’ve added an extra layer of spookiness: skeletal horses pulling those iconic wagons across the yard. At least, I think they’re horses. They could be some other large four-legged animal. Who knows for sure?!

I’ll write more about the history of the Old Mission Inn separately, but suffice to say the Old Mission Peninsula would not be the same without this historic structure, which dates back to the mid-1800s and began life as Hedden Hall.
Thanks to owners Angie and Bruce Jensen for caring for the inn so lovingly during this chapter of its life, and for always putting out the coolest Halloween decorations.
