Our little Peninsula has had some hell-ish weather this week, with road closings, trees down, banks collapsing and waves crashing into shore and sending docks and kayaks adrift into the bays.

So today’s Photo of the Day is a reminder that there’s always a rainbow (even a symbolic rainbow if a real one doesn’t happen) after the storms of life toss us this way and that.

This particular rainbow was, in fact, real, and photographed in all its beautiful panoramic glory by Bea Quartel in Old Mission. That’s Old Mission Harbor and Old Mission Point in the background, so Haserot Beach is to the left of the photo.

Thank you, Bea, for this gorgeous rainbow photo.
