Old Mission Peninsula United Methodist Church is hosting their annual Christmas Bazaar this Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, 16426 Center Road on the Old Mission Peninsula.
It’s a great time to shop for handmade gifts, craft items, holiday ornaments and decorations, and lots more.

They’ll also have an assortment of baked goods for sale, as well. This is a lovely way to stock up on cookies, breads, sweet breads, pies, brownies and lots more yummy baked goods for all those holiday events, dinners and gatherings coming up. (Methodists are known for their baking skills – true story.)
To give you a preview of the bake sale, check out Helen (Lindsey) Mumford’s photo below that she posted on Facebook this week. In the photo, Helen notes, are “pumpkin bread, pineapple bread, zucchini bread, whole wheat sourdough, cinnamon sourdough and white sourdough.”
Wait, pineapple bread?! I will arm wrestle anyone who gets ahead of me for this bread.
A light lunch will be available, as well, which just might include Jo Brown’s famous sloppy joes. For more information, call (231) 223-4393.
