Today’s Photo of the Day is courtesy of the historic Dougherty House on Mission Road in the little village of Old Mission. Members of the Peter Dougherty Society have been busy bees getting the place decked out for the holidays.
It’s been a big year for the Dougherty House. It opened as a museum in June of this year, and a dedicated group of docents gave tours throughout the summer and fall. While the house is now closed for the winter season, you may still request tours by appointment by calling Connie Sargent, (231) 223-8866, or emailing her at [email protected].
