Today’s Photo of the Day is courtesy of a flock of turkeys spotted in a field on Blue Water Road the other day. I was heading east and the flock of a dozen or more turkeys were hanging out in Dave Edmondson’s field across from Brys Estate Vineyard and Winery.
As the crow flies, this field is maybe a half-mile from our place on Bluff Road, but we haven’t really seen a lot of turkeys up here this winter. I wouldn’t mind if they sauntered over, though. I miss Mr. Gobbles, our friendly neighborhood turkey who used to hang around the bird feeder a few years back.
