Today’s Photo of the Day is courtesy of a flock of about a dozen turkeys congregating around our burn barrel and yard. They seem completely unconcerned about the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the globe – for now.
I’m thinking if things get dire and people start running out of food, then maybe they’ll take another look at their policy of wandering through peoples’ yards and fields and orchards.

I’m pretty sure this is the same flock we’ve seen over in Dave Edmondson’s field on Blue Water Road, and yesterday, we also saw them hanging around the orchard at the corner of Center Road and Seven Hills Road.
Wayne Mumford, who lives on the corner there, is an avid hunter, so … you’d best be finding a more secluded spot for your confab, Turkeys. Just sayin’.
Here are a few more photos, including this guy, who’s just showing off, and a few on the bank next to some of our blight (aka our garden rototiller).
