Today’s Photo of the Day (three days in a row – woo hoo!) is courtesy of these festive bows atop a row of evergreen trees on Peninsula Drive. Aren’t they picturesque along the fence there?
They’re located across the road from Tabone Vineyards and next door to AcenTek (formerly Peninsula Telephone Company). And by the way, I highly recommend switching to AcenTek from whatever Internet/Phone provider you have right now.

We switched from Charter in January and couldn’t be happier. Super fast Internet that never goes down, awesome customer service, and a local company right here on the Old Mission Peninsula. There’s my public service announcement for today.
As mentioned, this is my third day of posting a Photo every day, which is my goal heading into the new year (it’s also a great way to get something on the Gazette every day – also a goal). However! As you can see, other stories have gotten short shrift in the process!
But no worries. I will rectify that tomorrow, because there’s a few stories you guys need to know about before I send this weekend’s email newsletter out. (If you’d like to get the newsletter, subscribe for free by entering your email in the box at the top of this story.)
