Today’s Photo of the Day is courtesy of the white bundles of fur known as the Tester dogs, who love making sure people know they’re the official guardians of Becky Tester’s horse farm on the corner of Center Road and Tompkins Road out near the lighthouse. Although I’m pretty sure the dogs think it’s *their horse farm. 🙂
From Becky on the Gazette’s Facebook page: “Thank you Jane! Honestly it is their farm, I just pay the bills.”

I’ve lost track of how many there are – eight or nine? – and sometimes I can get a good portion of the furry gang into one photo, like this one I took back in 2018. I tried to get them together for a photo last week, but only a few complied.
Becky also mentioned on the Gazette’s Facebook page that there are nine: “It’s mom Angelica (Geli), dad Richard and babies Duke, Max, Mikey, Grayson, Blanco, Penelope, Tootsie.”
No matter. Whomever is in the photo, they always seem to love getting their picture taken. The one below even looks like he’s smiling.
(Becky also cautioned fans of the pups to NOT try and pet them. “They are very friendly, but please don’t try to pet them as they are in protection mode and could bite. Keeping a good distance from the road is required. Thanks.”)
