Peninsula Community Library is partnering with Michigan Medicine (University of Michigan Hospital) on a series of health programs, and this week’s lecture featured Dr. Sami Malek, who spoke on blood cancers.
I was honored to be asked to video the program, which I’ve included below. As a side note, I’ve been thinking about investing in a video camera with better resolution, and after reviewing this one (done on my phone with not-great resolution), now might be the time!

As I ponder that idea, take a look at the video below. There was a good crowd of OMPers who asked great questions about this important topic.
Also, view the library’s July 25 lecture, “The Latest in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias” with speaker Dr. Hank Paulson in the video below that.
The next lecture will be held on Monday, Oct. 3, at 3 p.m. – “Can You Hear Me? Progress in the Treatment of Hearing Disorders” with speaker Dr. Gabriel Corfas.
