I’m Lisa Trombley, candidate for the MI State Representative House District 103.
Once elected, my job will be to represent the people of our beloved Northern Michigan. You can count on me to do just that! Many of you know that I am a voice of reason and common sense while always staying true to my personal values of integrity and honesty.
We live in the best state and the best country, but it is not reflected in our economy, our jobs and quality of life. We have to navigate our own future, and we need people in Lansing with experience, passion and dedication to change the trajectory of this state.
On November 5th, I am asking for your vote.
Thank you,
-Lisa Trombley, Candidate for State Representative, District 103

SUPPORT YOUR INDEPENDENT LOCAL NEWSPAPER: I started Old Mission Gazette in 2015 because I felt a calling to provide the Old Mission Peninsula community with local news. After decades of writing for newspapers and magazines like the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Family Circle and Ladies' Home Journal, I really just wanted to write about my own community where I grew up on a cherry farm and raised my own family. So I started my own newspaper.
Because Old Mission Gazette is a "Reader Supported Newspaper" -- meaning it exists because of your financial support -- I hope you'll consider tossing a few bucks our way if I mention your event, your business, your organization or your news item, or if you simply love reading about what's happening on the OMP. In a time when local news is becoming a thing of the past, supporting an independent community newspaper is more important now than ever. Thank you so much for your support! -Jane Boursaw, Editor/Publisher, Old Mission Gazette

How much did Lisa Trombley have to pay you to run an advertisement for her campaign disguised as an article? News flash!!! Lisa Trombley thinks Lisa Trombley is great! You ran this under the guise of an “Opinion” headline?!? Sad
Thanks for the note, Randy. Yes, this is a paid opinion piece. Candidates representing Peninsula Township are welcome to contact me if they’d like to submit a story for publication. – [email protected].
