I don’t really know who Marty Lagina is, but his attack on Grant Parsons warrants a stiff response.
Mr. Lagina wrote a list of grievances, most of which were petulant and personal.
In his attempt to smear Grant by diminishing his long advocacy for those who have been mistreated and those seeking to protect the land of Northern Michigan, Mr. Lagina misrepresented a distinguished man’s career.
Mr. Lagina’s call for an undeserved apology tells me that his original comment to the Gazette was a petty vendetta, and at best, a plea for attention.
Grant’s reply to Lagina’s self-important rhetoric is measured and downright neighborly. Enough said.
