Peninsula Township Flag Design Contest
Peninsula Township is one of the few townships in Michigan that does not have its own flag. To that end, the Township Board would like to invite all our local artists to consider designing a flag. Township residents themselves will select the winning design via survey after the designs are received. This contest has the following parameters:
- It’s open to Peninsula Township residents and property owners only.
- The design must fit within standard flag dimensions and be based on the character of OMP.
- There are no fees or awards. The winner will be memorialized as the flag designer.
- The submission deadline is December 31st, 2026, at 5 p.m. to [email protected].
Note: The winning flag design could help inform our future “Welcome to Peninsula Township” sign to be installed on Center Road at the base of the township.
The Parks Committee (PkC) would like to hear your feedback as a Bowers Harbor Pickleball player. Our pickleball community continues to grow, and we’d love your feedback. We’re seeking input on court reservations, scheduling, maintenance, and volunteer opportunities. The survey takes just a few minutes to complete, and your responses will help guide future decisions and improvements to enhance the experience for everyone. Fill out the survey here.
Please keep an eye on all upcoming meetings via the Township website and our live streamed meetings (saved for 30 days) on our YouTube Channel.
